When you create a CourtNetra account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, organization name, and AOR code (if applicable). We also collect case data that you enter or that our auto-fetch system retrieves from public court records.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide case management services, send hearing reminders and alerts (via email and WhatsApp), generate hearing diary PDFs, auto-fetch case updates from court websites, and improve our services.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted in India. We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Multi-tenant isolation ensures your organization's data is never visible to other organizations. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Court Data
CourtNetra fetches publicly available case information from court websites (Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts, and Tribunals). This data is public record. We store it to provide you with consolidated tracking and alerts.
5. WhatsApp & Notifications
If you opt in to WhatsApp alerts, we use the Meta WhatsApp Business API to send hearing reminders and case updates. You can opt out at any time from your notification preferences.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting contact@courtnetra.com.
7. DPDPA 2023 Compliance
CourtNetra complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Contact us at contact@courtnetra.com for any data-related requests.
